The Island

A rare afternoon row.  The temp was 70 degrees and sunny. The water was down some, closer to normal level and clearer.  I didn’t have to rest going upstream to the sand bar.  The island at the little sand bar was larger with grass growing on it.  The clay reef was still underwater.  I stayed on the sand bar 20 min before floating back.
