Thank You to the WRC

            A thanks to the WRC for highlighting me as guide of the month for October. I was asked to write a few things about myself. In the blurb, I mentioned, “that it is important for me to share my experiences on the Wolf.” I didn’t like this passage at first. I thought that it might sound self-important. However, after some consideration, I decided that sharing information about the river really is important. I want the citizens of the Mid-South to see that the Upper Wolf River is a wonderland of forest, river channels, swamps, hidden pools, lakes, grasslands, sand bars and islands. I want everyone to know this so that the people of the area will protect the Wolf from the growing threat of the urbanization of Fayette County.
